Cheetahs V Ulster (21-08-18)

We’re drawing nearer to Cheetahs V Ulster in round 4 of the Pro14, we’ve got a squad update for you. Keep checking back here for more updates as we get them.

It’s all change

Some first starts for this Ulster side. Eric O’Sullivan (prop) and Angus Kernohan (winger) have been included in the starting lineup to take on the Cheetahs. They are just two out of six changes from our last game in Port Elizabeth. Wiehahn Herbst joins O’Sullivan in the front row. Rob Herring continues to captain the side and will have to keep an eye on our discipline for this round.

Jordi Murphy has been ruled out with a hamstring injury so will not be fit for Ulster’s clash against the Southern Kings on 16th Sep 2018.

However, there is some positive news for Ulster Rugby. Clive Ross, Tom O’Toole, Jean Deysel and Tommy O’Hagan have all returned from injury and are now ready for selection.

A very close encounter but what a start for our new coach, and a bright new future for Ulster Rugby. They have been tough games so far but he is bringing in the results.

We have finally made it to the first game of the Season! A new start with a new coach.

The Scarlets will put up a good performance against us but we must remain steadfast and use our recent friendly defeats to galvanise the squad. #SUFTUM
