Toyota Cheetahs V Ulster Rugby

We head to the Toyota Stadium to take on the Toyota Cheetahs in our fourth game of the season in Bloemfontein, South Africa. It should be one of our easier games but a resilient Cheetahs could cause us real problems (especially with our changes).

Our opposition has only achieved one point from their opening three games. They will be aiming for their first win of the season, let’s not make it against us! The Cheetahs are playing at home and will see this game as winnable.

It’s going to be tough

John Cooney is out of the squad due to a head injury incurred in our last outing in South Africa. This will be a huge blow for us but Dave Shanahan will take his place.

The five-day turnaround will be key in this encounter between Cheetahs V Ulster with Tired legs. Another factor will be the altitude but that is something Ulster will have to get used to going forward.

One major positive we have is the form of Marcell Coetzee. We will have to rely on his skills in this round to make an impact.
